Ella Babayov’s “Transformable” Jewelry

Ella Babayov was born into the diamond industry. Her father founded Robert Babayov Ltd. in 1992, specializing in the production of high-end jewelry diamonds ranging from 0.50 to 10.00 carat. The company primarily sold to customers in New York, Hong Kong, and various European countries, including Russia, Ukraine, France, Austria, and more.

Two decades later, Ella took the company into the world of jewelry and established Ella Babayov Jewelry. Under her leadership, the company not only maintained its existing customer base from her father’s diamond company but also expanded into new markets, including the promising market of Dubai.

Ella Babayov’s jewelry pieces are both grand and exquisite. She specializes in crafting customized jewelry and unique luxury pieces, all meticulously designed by her.
Why jewelry?

To be frank, my lifelong dream was to become a painter. Thankfully, I found a way to fulfill my artistic aspirations through jewelry. My work stems primarily from a love for creation itself rather than purely economic considerations.

What is your business motto?

I believe in taking risks, not being afraid, believing in what you do, and putting quality and beauty above all, especially in a business like ours.

What makes you unique?

I believe in delivering value to my customers. For example, some of my designs feature jewelry pieces, such as rings or earrings, that can be split into two separate parts. These designs emphasize creativity in aspects like size and color, as well as the ability to transform into multiple distinct jewelry pieces, as previously mentioned.
Do you sell online?

I have a strong belief in e-commerce, and we are currently in the process of developing a new online shopping platform. Until this point, our website and Instagram presence have primarily functioned as promotional tools, but we are now taking steps to expand into the realm of online sales.

Who do you work with?

We excel in face-to-face sales, so we collaborate with numerous stores in Israel and abroad and design jewelry for them.An erosional remnant is a persisting rock formation that remains after extensive wind, water, and/or chemical erosion. To the untrained eye, it may appear to be visually like a glacial erratic, but instead of being transported and deposited, it was carved from the local bedrock. Many good examples of erosional remnants are seen in Karlu Karlu/Devils Marbles Conservation Reserve in the Northern Territory of Australia. - A pedestal rock, also known as a rock pedestal or mushroom rock, is not a true balancing rock, but is a single continuous rock form with a very small base leading up to a much larger crown. Some of these formations are called balancing rocks because of their appearance. The undercut base was attributed for many years to simple wind abrasion, but is now believed to result from a combination of wind and enhanced chemical weathering at the base where moisture would be retained longest. Some pedestal rocks sitting on taller spire formations are known as hoodoos.

We actively participate in many international shows and exhibitions worldwide, and we have a trademark piece: a stunning flower-shaped ring set with numerous pink diamonds. The design was inspired by an ancient brooch, and I simply fell in love with it… I felt it needed to stay close, and since then, it has been with us at every exhibition. It has truly become my lucky charm.
